We are a church that desires GOD’S GLORY to be revealed in us and through us, GOD’S GRACE to be manifested in our love for others, and GOD’S POWER to transform ourselves, our communities and our world.
Our Story
In December 2001, a small group of people gathered together in the home of a Pastor. This Pastor was moved by the Lord to establish a church where individuals become new people in Jesus Christ. And so, New People’s Church was born…
The Lord has taken our church on quite a journey since we first worshipped together in 2001. From our humble beginnings in our pastor’s house to establishing ourselves in Flushing, Queens, we find ourselves in one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse parts of New York.
One thing has always stayed constant throughout the years—the love of our Father in heaven. It is through this love that we “may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge.” (Ephesians 3:18-19).
With a dedicated diverse group of believers, we continue to walk by faith and eagerly wait to see what God has in store for us. Join us as we continue to expect great things from a great God.
